A part-furnished family home in Weybridge — the bits that matter, already here

Somewhere you can actually live while your home is being built.

Temporary accommodation feels very different when temporary means months rather than days. This is our own family home, set up so that normal life can carry on while another house is being stripped out, extended or rebuilt.

Move-in ready, not staged

The house is set up move-in ready: white goods, washer and dryer, televisions, and blinds or curtains throughout. It is not a show home, and it is not left bare either — it is ready to live in from the evening you arrive, with room for your own things to come in too. You bring the contents of your life; we have already done the rest.

The point is that you should not have to empty your own house into storage while the build is on. Your furniture, boxes and everyday things can come straight into this house, and there is room for them.

Room for your boxes

One of the awkward parts of moving out for a build is what to do with everything. This house has storage built in:

  • Three outdoor sheds for garden tools, outdoor kit and overflow
  • A single garage converted into a gym — also usable for storage if you prefer
  • A loft with a pull-down ladder and ample room for boxes

Everything you need from day one

You should not have to recreate an entire household for somewhere you intend to live temporarily.

  • Move-in ready throughout — beds, wardrobes, sofas, dining table and seating
  • All white goods supplied, including washer and dryer
  • Televisions and blinds or curtains throughout the house
  • Kitchen equipped and ready to cook in from the first evening
  • Full-fibre broadband, live from the day you arrive
  • Council tax, gas, electricity and water included in the monthly price
  • Weekly cleaning and a weekly gardener taken care of by us
  • A professional deep clean before you arrive and again after you leave
  • A check-in and check-out agent arranged and paid for by us
  • Off-street parking behind an automatic gate, front and rear gardens
  • Children welcome; pets welcome by agreement

Family life welcome

Children are not an inconvenience here, and neither is the evidence that children exist. Pets are welcome by agreement. This is a family house being used by another family for a while, and that is exactly how we want it to feel.

Weybridge, without changing your world

The house is well placed for families already living in Weybridge and the surrounding Elmbridge area — Oatlands, St George's Hill, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Cobham, Byfleet and Shepperton — and within reach of the station for the Waterloo line. The aim is not to discover somewhere new. It is to keep the school run, commute, friendships, activities and building site close enough that a renovation changes one part of your life rather than every part of it.

The price

£7,500 per calendar month, including council tax, gas, electricity, water, broadband, weekly cleaning and a weekly gardener. A check-in and check-out agent and a pre- and post-stay deep clean are arranged by us and included in the monthly price, so there is nothing extra to organise on either side of your stay. Offered on a flexible monthly basis, subject to availability and the agreed rental terms.
